This study outlines the design methodology for a multi-layered geoinformation database (GIDB) of cultural heritage sites, as well as its scientific and methodological foundations. The multi-layered geoinformation approach enables the integration, systematization, and effective management of spatial and attribute data regarding cultural heritage sites within a digital environment. The study analyzes the stages involved in creating a GIS, based on the fundamental principles of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database models, and the standardization of spatial interoperability principles. Furthermore, the advantages of a multi-layered structure are substantiated with respect to the processes of protection, monitoring, and updating cadastral information for cultural heritage sites. The proposed approach serves to accelerate digital transformation within the cultural heritage sector and to optimize decision-making processes.
