This thesis scientifically substantiates the didactic, methodological and analytical capabilities of smart platforms in organizing independent learning of higher education students. The aim of the study is to identify ways to improve the mechanisms for planning, monitoring, and evaluating independent learning through smart platforms. The methodology used is pedagogical analysis, comparison, content analysis, and design approach. The scientific novelty lies in the systematization of the conditions for supporting individual trajectories based on a model that combines the functions of a smart platform with an independent learning cycle and learning analytics. The results show that the role of the teacher, the design of assignments, and transparent assessment criteria are crucial factors in the effectiveness of the platform.
