Abstract

This аrtiсlе examines the historical evolution of AI provides essential context for evaluating its current state and future trajectories. AI can be broadly categorized into three types: narrow AI, designed for task-specific applications; general AI, characterized by human-like cognitive abilities; and superintelligent AI, which surpasses human intelligence across all domains. This classification framework helps delineate the scope and direction of AI research and development.
