Abstract

The integration of digital technologies has significantly reshaped the teaching of listening skills in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context. This article examines both the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of digital tools in listening instruction. While technologies such as multimedia resources, interactive platforms, and adaptive learning systems enhance learner autonomy and provide authentic input, issues such as limited access, cognitive overload, and insufficient teacher training remain critical concerns. The study also highlights key pedagogical implications, emphasizing the importance of a balanced and learner-centered approach. Effective integration requires aligning technological tools with sound pedagogical principles.
