This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations of the process of creating and staging a musical performance in the context of the traditions of the Uzbek musical theater and modern stage practice. The study covers the formation of the conceptual idea of the performance, work on the play and libretto, the processes of musical composition and arrangement, the concept of directing, acting skills, the system of stage exercises and scenographic solutions as sequential stages.
